The Phoenix Aircraft Monitor stores detailed flight logs to its internal memory on a adaptive 1 to 30 second interval. To download these detailed logs to your logbook, please follow these steps.
You will need:
- The Airbly App installed on a Bluetooth equipped smartphone or tablet.
- Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone or tablet.
- Be within close proximity of the device you want to retrieve the logs from.
- Ensure that the device is turned on and the battery is not dead.
The steps:
- Startup the Airbly app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Login to the app using your email address and password.
- Select the group which owns the device from the pull down list at the top.
- From the menu at the top, select the Groups menu item.

- On the Groups page, select the Device tab.

- You should see a list of all of your devices. Scroll down until you see the device you want to download the logbook from and click on it.
- Your smartphone or tablet will now attempt to connect to your device. This process can take up to 10 seconds. When the Attempting to Connect box disappears, it is an indication that you are connected.

- Scroll down to the Database section and click on the Sync button. This will start the database synchronization process. This process usually takes about 5 minutes to complete.

- That is it, you are done. When the synchronization is complete, please allow up to 5 minutes for the data to appear in your aircraft logs within the Airbly app.
